Hi! My name is Anna Johnson (but most people call me Missy -- it's the nickname I've had practically since I was born) and I am a graduate from the University of Alabama. I majored in marketing and minored in psychology. I am now pursuing a Masters of Science in Marketing degree with a concentration in consumer behavior (the perfect mix of marketing and psychology) from the University of Southern California. My interest in psychology stems from my passion for community engagement as I have been a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity since the ninth grade. I also have an interest in corporate business as I interned in the marketing department with Regions Bank these past two summers. While there, I was able to heighten my organizational skills, improve my interpersonal interactions, and learn the professionalism and responsibility necessary within a corporate environment.

If you were wondering what the header image above displayed, it is the beautiful and wonderful place I will always call home. To give a bit of background, I was raised in New Rochelle, New York -- a city about 30 minutes outside of NYC. It is one of the most diverse locations in America, with there being no real minority in terms of socioeconomic status, race, religion, etc.In high school I found my love for community involvement as I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity beginning in the ninth grade, and I continue to do so. I also swam competitively from age 8 to 18, raking up three state championship relay race wins in the process! Currently, however, I reside in Birmingham, Alabama. My journey to the south stems from my father moving here for work, and I then began to look at schools in Alabama. Upon stepping on the University of Alabama's campus, I fell in love, and my adventures of rolling with the tide began!
This past Fall semester I studied abroad in Florence, Italy! While there I learned about the wonderful culture, gained new and memorable experiences and overall honed in on my passion and what I'd like to accomplish in this life. You can check out some of my blog posts here. So, feel free to explore my website, learn more about me, and follow me through this journey called life!
